New & Recent Projects

In recent years, Bill's chief writing product has been short and long scripts for live theater. Current, upcoming and recent projects are outlined below. For detailed production histories for individual titles, as well as long-form and short story fiction, see individual pages with details on pages elsewhere on the site.

Rehearsals, a backstage comedy

Bill's backstage comedy "Rehearsals," in which a small-town community theatre attempts to save its organization with an oddly-chosen production of Oscar Wilde's "An Ideal Husband," completed its third production by the Saax- Bradbury Teen Players at New Bern, NC's Civic Theatre in mid-July, 2023.

Communication Gap, moving along

One of Bill's first 10-minute plays continues as his most popular. "Communication Gap" had its 15th production at Bluffton University, Bluffton, Ohio. The social debate between two college students was performed April 20 & 21, 2023 as part of a play production class finale.

Short play "Game of Chance"

Bill's 10-minute play "Game of Chance" received its third staging at BrooklynONE Productions in mid-October, 2023. It's part of the theater company's OneAct Festival, started up again after the company took a break to establish its lively new space at Industry City..
