Fiction Short and Long
In addition to substantial credits in non-fiction, I have written fiction on and off since the mid-1980s. I wrote genre (horror and detective) short stories published in the small press, and followed up with a novel-length work with the same private-investigator character, Jack Larson. A Simple Murder is available in paperback and for Kindle (amazon.com) and for Nook (barnesandnoble.com). A second Jack Larson novel is underway.
I have spoken about the mystery and P.I. fiction genres at a variety of libraries. For more information, visit my Jack Larson page here.
Other fiction projects include:
My general novel, Fictionography of a Mental Coward, a tale of growing up rich and naive in the '60s, '70s and '80s, is available in paperback and for Kindle at amazon.com, and for Nook at barnesandnoble.com.
A print version of my first produced play, Conversations in a Cafe, is available at amazon.com, along with my second full-length play, All About Faith.
I wrote three short stories for the small press with the Jack Larson detective character. The first, "Follow the Money," is included as a bonus with the novel-length A Simple Murder (see above). I hope to include the two others with the next novels in the Jack Larson series.
Thirteen short stories in the horror genre were published in the small press. Sample stories are available via e-mail if you'd like to read any of 'em. Contact me.
